The Asheville Spartan Event Weekend takes place on August 2–3, 2025, at the Tryon International Equestrian Center near Asheville, North Carolina, and offers a dynamic mix of obstacle course races for all levels. Participants can challenge themselves in the Sprint (approximately 5 km with 20+ obstacles) or the more demanding Super (around 10 km with 25+ obstacles), both set against the backdrop of Western North Carolina's scenic trails and rugged terrain. Younger athletes can join in the excitement with a Kids’ Race, ranging from 1 to 3 km and featuring age-appropriate obstacles that provide a fun introduction to Spartan racing. The event blends intense physical tests with a festival-like atmosphere, drawing athletes, families, and fitness enthusiasts to one of the most popular Spartan weekends in the U.S. Completing multiple race distances at the event also helps racers earn a Spartan Trifecta, adding an extra layer of achievement to the experience.
