Join us for the 29th Annual Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival, a weekend-long celebration of running set amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. On Saturday, September 27, 2025, participants can enjoy the 5K and 10K races in Chestertown, as well as a Kids Fun Run in Schroon Lake. The excitement continues on Sunday, September 28, with the full marathon, half marathon, and 2- and 4-person marathon relays, all taking runners around the picturesque 9-mile-long Schroon Lake. The half marathon, starting at 10:00 AM, is limited to 650 runners and follows the second half of the marathon course, featuring flat stretches along the east shore and gentle hills on Route 9 leading back to Schroon Lake. The event is renowned for its challenging yet rewarding courses, exceptional organization, and the camaraderie of runners from around the globe.
