In March 2026 the Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB returns to Tuscany’s wine-country splendour, with a weekend of trail racing through the hills, estates, olive groves and castle-lined ridges around Radda in Chianti. Runners can pick from five distances: 10 km (≈ 400 m +), 21 km (≈ 920 m +), 47 km (≈ 2 000 m +), 75 km (≈ 3 100 m +), and the ultra-endurance 120 km (≈ 5 300 m +). The terrain blends vineyard tracks, single-track through woodland, and climbs to historic hilltop castles — giving both newcomers and experienced ultrarunners a fantastic backdrop and challenge. With registration opening early and inclusion in the UTMB® World Series circuit, it attracts an international field and delivers a distinct mix of endurance sport, Tuscan scenery and trail culture.
