Cuyamaca 100K Endurance Run 2025 returns on October 4 for a tough and scenic ultra in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, about 40 miles east of San Diego. The 100K course is broken into three loops: a 31.5-mile loop to Cuyamaca Peak (6,512 ft), a 12.6-mile southeastern loop toward Oakzanita Peak, and a final 18.3-mile stretch including the Pacific Crest Trail and a portion of Anza-Borrego Desert. The total elevation gain is approximately 8,800 feet (2,682 m), with varied terrain through forest, meadow, chaparral, and exposed ridgelines. Runners must meet qualification criteria (completion of a trail 50K or longer in 2024 or 2025) and start at 6:30 AM, with a 19-hour cutoff to complete the course. Finishers receive a technical tee, hoodie, finisher’s medal, and hand-crafted awards for top performers, with strong course support and sustainability-focused race practices throughout the day.
