On 15 November 2025, the Glentress Trail 10K & Half Marathon returns to the stunning Glentress Forest, located between Peebles and Innerleithen in the Tweed Valley Forest Park. Starting and finishing at the Glentress Peel Visitor Centre (EH45 8NB), runners will traverse rolling forest singletrack, mountain-bike trails, and open ridgelines with sweeping views of the Scottish Borders. The half marathon features around 600–900 m of ascent, while the 10K includes about 400 m, both demanding strong climbs and rewarding downhill sections. Fully marked courses, chip timing, aid stations, and post-race refreshments make for a professional yet welcoming trail-running experience. With its crisp autumn air, golden woodland scenery, and challenging terrain, the Glentress Trail event is a highlight of the UK trail calendar.
