Set against one of Australia’s most breathtaking backdrops, the Great Ocean Trail Ultra 2025 returns on 25 October for a rugged and unforgettable adventure along the Great Ocean Walk in Victoria. Participants can choose between a 100 km solo, 100 km 2-person relay, or a 45 km solo distance, all finishing at the world-famous Twelve Apostles. The trail features a mix of singletrack, fire trails, beaches, and technical climbs, with elevation and terrain that test even seasoned ultrarunners. With a 20-hour cutoff and strict checkpoints, the race balances challenge and safety in a fully cup-free format. This ultramarathon is more than a race—it’s a chance to immerse in coastal wilderness, push personal limits, and finish at one of the most iconic landmarks in the country.

With a mix of singletrack and coastal trails, runners face a course that is both scenic and rigorous, with specific cutoff times to ensure safety and course management.
