
Scheduled for October 4–5, 2025, the Hennepin Hundred offers a unique ultramarathon experience along Illinois’ historic Hennepin Canal State Trail. Participants can choose from four distances: 100-mile solo, 50-mile solo, 50K solo, and a 100-mile team relay. The course is celebrated for its flat terrain, making it ideal for personal records and first-time ultrarunners. Runners traverse picturesque landscapes, including historic locks, lift bridges, and charming towns. The event features well-stocked aid stations every 3–7 miles, enthusiastic volunteers, and amenities like race swag, finisher medals, and free race photography.
