Taking place on November 1, 2025, the 17th edition of the Kathmandu Marathon invites runners to “Run with the Himalayas” through a route rich in culture and heritage. Organized annually since 2007, the event now attracts over 30,000 runners and includes the 10 km race, 5 km open run, a 3 km family team run, and school competitions, encouraging community-wide participation. All runners receive chip timing, event T-shirts, hydration support, medals, and certificates. With enthusiastic crowd support and a festival-like atmosphere, the Kathmandu Marathon blends endurance, culture, and Himalayan spirit into one of South Asia’s most iconic road races.
