Kolitza Balmatrail is a two-day mountain running event held in the historic town of Balmaseda, Bizkaia, in the Basque Country of Spain. The event includes the 12 km “Récord del Kolitza,” an individual uphill time trial on Saturday, and a 12 km mountain race on Sunday. Also taking place on Sunday are a 25 km mountain race, a 21 km mountain walk for non-competitive participants, and a 3.5 km family walk. Children can enjoy free age-group races ranging from 0.4 to 3.5 km, making the event welcoming for all ages.
