From 1–3 May 2026, the Jovia Long Island Marathon Festival turns Eisenhower Park and surrounding roads into Long Island’s signature spring running weekend. Friday night hosts the 5 km “Friday Night Lights” run, Saturday brings the 10 km in the park and a 1 km kids’ fun run, and Sunday delivers the headline marathon and half marathon, along with the popular 35.5-mile (marathon + 10 km + 5 km) and 22.4-mile (half + 10 km + 5 km) challenge bundles. The courses are USATF-certified road routes that are famously flat and fast, starting and finishing around Eisenhower Park and using nearby parkways and local roads, making them attractive for personal bests and marathoners chasing Boston qualification. With in-person and virtual options, a race expo, food trucks and a lively festival atmosphere, the event caters to everyone from first-time fun-runners to seasoned distance athletes.
