Long Beach, California

Be the first Runna to sign up!

Set along the Long Beach shoreline, the 2026 Ocean Breeze event uses a simple open course on the paved beach path in Belmont Shore, where runners and walkers share the path with other trail users and follow clearly marked out-and-back loops. The 5k completes one loop, the 10k doubles it, the 15k stacks three 5k loops, and the half marathon covers three longer beach-path laps of about 4.36 miles each, all starting together at 7:30 a.m. with a half-marathon cutoff of 10:45 a.m. (early-start option available on request). Terrain is flat, fast and fully paved with ocean views the whole way, and the atmosphere leans relaxed and personal rather than high-pressure racing. Registration typically includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, snacks, and free photos and results, making it an easy, low-stress way to log beachside miles at whatever pace you like.
