The Ben Nevis Skyline 2025 is a premier skyrunning event set for Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Nevis Range near Fort William, Scotland. Covering approximately 29km with 1,800m of elevation gain, the race challenges participants with technical terrain, including a grade 1 scramble along the Càrn Mòr Dearg (CMD) Arete and a summit of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest peak. The course demands self-sufficiency, as there are no support points along the route, and features a steep final descent on the Blue Doon MTB trail. As part of the Salomon Golden Trail World Series, top finishers have the opportunity to earn Golden Tickets to the series final. The event is fully waymarked and marshalled, with live GPS tracking and emergency medical support available. All finishers receive a quality medal, and winners are awarded trophies and Salomon prizes.
