The route includes the Capilano Pacific Trail, Nancy Greene Way, and the infamous Grouse Grind, totaling a 1,400-meter elevation gain. Participants can choose to run solo or form relay teams of 2–4 members, dividing the course into four legs. The event emphasizes sustainability by implementing a cupless racing policy, encouraging runners to carry their own hydration vessels.
