Set against the birthplace of American history, the Jamestown Half Marathon winds through Jamestown Settlement, encircles Jamestown Island, and continues along the Greensprings and Virginia Capital Trail—a flat, inviting course where each stride resonates with the nation’s earliest footsteps. The adjacent Virginia Company 5K also delivers a fast and scenic route, while the Discovery Mile offers a non‑timed, family‑friendly introduction to running. All participants receive a custom race T‑shirt, finisher’s medal (for those who complete the course), swag bag, post‑race refreshments (including complimentary beer for those 21 and over), and DJ‑driven entertainment. Awards are presented across multiple divisions—including overall, Masters, Grand Masters, and detailed age group categories—for both the Half Marathon and 5K (and walks or ruck options).
