Across 14–17 May 2026, Trail Alsace by UTMB turns the Vosges foothills and Alsace Wine Route into a multi-day trail festival built around five main races: the Ultra-Trail des Chevaliers 160 km (5200 m+) and Ultra-Trail des Païens 109 km (3900 m+) on 15 May, the Trail des Pèlerins 29 km (800 m+) and Ronde des Pages 18 km (250 m+) on 16 May, and the Trail des Celtes 47 km (1600 m+) on 17 May. Courses stitch together forest tracks, rocky singletrack, vineyard paths and ridge lines crowned with medieval castles, creating a mix of runnable sections and sharp climbs typical of the Vosges. Starting from different villages and converging on emblematic Alsatian towns, each route offers its own balance of distance, elevation and technicality, yet all share the same atmosphere of history, wine country and mountain scenery. With kids’ races and supporter-friendly venues rounding out the weekend, the event feels like a cultural journey as much as a UTMB-indexed race series.
