Set against the stunning backdrop of Lantau Island’s coastal and mountain landscapes, TransLantau by UTMB® returns in mid-November 2026 to test trail runners at every endurance level. Runners can choose between four UTMB‑branded races—25 km with ~1 500 m ascent, a 50 km (~2 400 m), a 100 km (~5 000 m), or the brutal 120 km (≈5 700 m) that takes on Lantau Peak and island‑wide terrain. Each route begins and ends in Mui Wo, immersing participants in steep ascents, singletrack, coastal vistas, and cultural sites like Tai O and the Big Buddha. The event includes full support—aid stations, medical coverage, live tracking, gear checks, and time limits—and is a proud part of the UTMB® World Series, blending elite endurance racing with local character and sustainability. TransLantau has drawn thousands of runners globally, cementing its reputation as Hong Kong’s premier island ultra festival.
