On 16 November 2025, the Tweed Valley Ultra returns to the heart of the Scottish Borders, with a start/finish at Glentress Peel Visitor Centre (EH45 8NB) and two trail-running distances: the 65 km (starting at 07:30) and the 50 km (starting at 08:00). The course runs through the Tweed Valley via Glentress Forest, the Tweed Valley Railway Path, Cadrona Forest, open moorland at Minch Moor (high point ~520 m) and other rolling terrain. The longer 65 km has an ascent/descent of around 1,574 m/1,577 m and a time limit of 11 hours; the 50 km climbs approximately 1,145 m/1,143 m with a 9-hour limit. Routes are fully way-marked and no navigation experience is required; mandatory kit applies for running late in the year in Scottish moorland. With its combination of remote scenery, trail challenge and strong organisational support, Brooks running a high-quality Scottish ultra experience awaits.
