Courses wind through a mix of flat wooded bike trails, technical granite singletrack, rocky ascents, stairs, and scenic loops offering views of Flinders Peak and Port Phillip Bay. Start and finish areas are centralized at the carpark, allowing supporters to cheer multiple times as runners loop through the park. The event features full on-course support with aid stations every 5–10 km, mandatory gear checks for ultras, live runner tracking, and a festive atmosphere supported by food vendors and drink stations. Organized by TrailsPlus and part of the Mountain Trail Series, the festival also supports Canteen with charitable donations from registration proceeds.
