Since 1994, The Boulevard Bolt has taken place each Thanksgiving morning in Nashville, with the 2025 edition scheduled for Thursday, 27 November. The certified 5-mile course runs up and down Belle Meade Boulevard, starting and finishing near St. George’s Episcopal School and the St. George’s parking lot. The event is organized by a coalition of churches (St. George’s Episcopal, Immanuel Baptist, and The Temple) and is entirely volunteer-run, with all proceeds going to homelessness support agencies in Nashville. Entry includes either a chip-timed or non-timed option, and tens of thousands participate—many walking, running, or trotting in festive spirits. The race also features packet pickup during the prior week, a strong volunteer presence, and a no-strollers / no-animals policy on the course for safety.
