Fat Ass Trail Run 2025

Batawa, Canada

20 Runnas

Fat Ass Trail Run returns on November 16, 2025, to Batawa Ski Hill in eastern Ontario for one of the province’s largest and most community‑driven trail events. Founded in 2003 with just 23 participants, it now welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and paces via multiple distances—from a 1 km kids’ "Big Bum" run to the 50 km ultra, plus a unique Bad Ass 6‑hour nonstop timed challenge. Courses feature a thrilling mix of terrain: forested single‑track, rocky and root‑covered trails, meadows, creek crossings, wooden bridges, and steep ski‑hill climbs. With low‑cost entry, minimal frills, and a welcoming ethos, the event emphasizes inclusivity—fast, slow, young, old, runners or walkers are all welcome. Medals are awarded for top males and females in each distance, while a whimsical “best finish‑time prediction” award adds local flair.
