The Hervey Bay 100 spans two days (15-16 November 2025) as part of the Hundy Festival, hosted by the Hervey Bay Triathlon Club. Its flagship race is the “100” distance: a 2 km open water swim in protected foreshore waters, an 80 km bike ride along coastal and regional roads, and an 18 km run along the foreshore. There are shorter options too (half distance: 1/40/9) as well as related events over the weekend like ocean swims, junior races, and family-friendly formats. Cut-off times are enforced for each leg to ensure safety and logistics; participants get full support on course, timing, medical aid, and festival atmosphere in the event village. It’s known for its picturesque setting, challenging distance, and excellent organisation by the local triathlon community.
