On 4 January 2026, the third edition of the Karachi Marathon will unite participants across multiple distances—marathon, half marathon, 5 km fun run, and relay—in Pakistan’s “City of Lights”. The certified full marathon begins early in the morning from Nishan-e-Pakistan on Sea View Road, winds past Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue, along the Do Darya road, turns at DHA Golf Club, then returns to the seaside finish. With a 7-hour cutoff for the full marathon, the event is accessible to seasoned runners and enthusiastic first-timers alike. The theme “Harmony in Diversity” reflects the race’s goal of bringing together people of all backgrounds, showcasing Karachi’s cultural mosaic. Race packs include timing chips, finisher medals, organized baggage drop, on-course support and a welcoming post-race celebration near the sea.
