The festival offers multiple off-road / trail distances including: Kids Forest Run (≈ 2-3 km), 5 km Trig Loop, Titokorangi 10 km, Moerangi Half Marathon (~21 km), and the New Zealand Forest Marathon (~42.9 km) which covers four peaks with ~1,700-1,800 m elevation gain. The course uses forest trails, volcanic terrain, ridgelines, and mixed gradient climbs and descents in a stunning natural setting. Support includes festival atmosphere with music, expo, food, and amenities; well-marked trail routes, timing cut-offs, refreshment stations. It’s suitable for a broad range of fitness / experience levels, from kids and walkers up through serious trail runners seeking challenge.
