Hosted on 7 December 2025, the Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon offers runners a festive winter race with a flat and fast single-loop course that winds along the Grand Union Canal and through scenic linear parks in Milton Keynes. Starting and ending at Willen Lake Showground (near the Observation Wheel), participants enjoy chip timing, aid stations every 3 miles, and full marshal and medical support. All finishers receive a bespoke metal medal, and optional long-sleeved finisher T-shirts are available. The event is licensed by UK Athletics and fully measured (though not AIMS-certified), making it a valid qualifier for the London Marathon’s “Good For Age” standard. Organized by BCS Events (Big Cow Sports), and often sells out quickly due to its popularity.
