Held in the lush Spaarnwoude nature reserve just outside Amsterdam, the Strong Viking Obstacle Run Amsterdam 2025 delivers a high-energy, mud-splattered adventure over the weekend of September 27–28, 2025. Runners can select from six distances: the 4 km Family & Beginner Run, 7 km Lightning, 13 km Warrior, 19 km Beast, the marathon-distance 42 km Iron Viking, or the grueling 60 km Ultra Viking, which features over 135 obstacles. From the massive Fjord Drop to crowd favorites like Storm the Castle and Flying Ragnar, the event challenges strength, stamina, and camaraderie. The Family Run welcomes children aged 5 and up, making it an inclusive experience. Participants receive a finisher T-shirt, refreshments, and free event photos in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere that emphasizes personal accomplishment.
