Now in its 17th edition, the Bilbao Night Running Fest transforms the city into a vibrant running carnival each October, blending sport, music, and spectacle. The half marathon and 10K start at dusk (7 p.m.) and run through illuminated streets filled with fireworks and live bands at every mile, culminating in a festival atmosphere at the Guggenheim finish. Waves are organized by pace, with chip timing, water and snack stations, medical support, and a 21km elevation gain of around 319 m catering to all levels. The event is also environmentally conscious and welcomes runners from all continents. Runners enjoy a full weekend experience—including an expo, entertainment, post-race concert, drinks, and sponsor activations aimed at delivering energy, culture, and celebration in the heart of Bilbao.
