Returning mid-July 2025, this prestigious UTMB® World Series event mixes alpine grandeur with endurance challenge, guiding runners through high-altitude cols, glaciers, and remote valleys of Bagnes, Entremont, and Ferret. The weekend includes the moderate X‑Plore and the technical Verbier Marathon on one day, followed by the X‑Traversée and ultra-demanding X‑Alpine on the next—each with between 1,700 m and 9,300 m of elevation gain. All races both begin or end in Verbier, supported by fully equipped aid stations, medical teams, time limits, gear checks, and race tracking. Families and juniors are welcome to join the shorter “Trail des Kids” loops. With its mix of legendary terrain, alpine culture, and race village festivities, Trail Verbier St Bernard is one of Switzerland’s most iconic mountain-running experiences.
