Established in 1982, the Windsor Half Marathon has become one of the UK’s most picturesque and popular half marathons. The 2025 race will take place on Sunday, 28 September, starting at 10:00 AM. The course comprises two laps: one approximately 4 miles and the other about 7.5 miles, with the remaining distance covered by the 1.5-mile Long Walk at the start and finish. Runners will experience a mix of flat stretches and hilly sections, all set within the stunning landscapes of Windsor Great Park. The event is open to amateur runners aged 17 and over, with entry fees ranging from £42 for UK Athletics-affiliated runners to £48 for overseas participants. In addition to the main race, the event features the 50m Sprite Sprint for children aged 5 to 9, offering a family-friendly atmosphere.
