Held on October 5, 2025, in Hoover, just south of Birmingham, the BHM 26.2 event delivers a full weekend of running options—from a challenging 42.2K marathon and half marathon to shorter 10K, 5K, fun run, and a team-based 5-person marathon relay. The course features a mix of rolling hills, flat terrain, and scenic waterfront sections through Hoover neighborhoods and the metro area, designed as a Boston-qualifying route for the marathon and half marathon. Participants receive chip timing, finisher medals, race shirts, and enjoy a family-friendly after-party with live music, food, drinks, and kids’ activities—all while supporting Magic Moments, a local childhood wish-granting charity. With over 2,000 runners expected, the event is one of Alabama’s most popular and inclusive races, offering something for all levels of runners.
