Beginning at midnight on 3 July 2026 atop Mynydd Mawr on the “coastal horn” of Wales, the Wales Ultra Trail Classic 75 Miles sends runners on a 75-mile / 121 km journey of coastal path, rugged trail, field crossings and ancient landscapes, all within a strict 24-hour cut-off. The route includes a triple ascent of Yr Eifl around marathon distance for sunrise, then pushes inland before returning to the coast and descending to the finish at Tŷ Newydd Café & Bar in Uwchmynydd. Expect around 2,800–2,900 m of ascent, long stretches of solitude, and a fully supported experience with multiple aid stations, live GPS tracking and on-site medics. It’s designed for runners who want more than a medal: a wild, myth-soaked overnight crossing of Pen Llŷn that tests endurance, resilience and spirit in equal measure.
