Coastal Rush 50km 2026 traces the wild southern edge of the Llŷn Peninsula, sending runners and hikers from the sands of Abererch Beach along 52 km of beaches, undulating coastal path, woodland tracks and open fields all the way to Tŷ Newydd Campsite. The route packs in roughly 1000 m of ascent with a highest point around 173 m, so it’s hilly and varied without ever becoming truly mountainous. With no time cut-offs and both an 8:00 a.m. standard start and 6:00 a.m. early start for hikers, the event is designed for moving at your own pace and soaking up the changing coastline as much as racing. Entry includes a T-shirt, finisher’s medal, on-course support, photography and coach transport between the campsite and start/finish, making logistics easy on a weekend that’s all about wild scenery, community and long-distance satisfaction.
