Across 11–12 April 2026, L’HourCancilloise transforms the shores of the Lac de Hourtin–Carcans into a Bike & Run and trail-running festival. Teams of two can take on the event’s hallmark challenge: a 57 km loop around the lake, sharing a single bike and alternating riding and running over long stretches of pine forest trail, sandy lakeside sections and rolling woodland paths. Shorter duo options — the 21 km Light and 11 km Xtra Light — offer the same concept in more compact loops. Solo runners also have their own programme with Les Foulées de l’Hourcancilloise, including a half marathon (21.1 km) and a 10K, alongside hiking and gentle trail choices for all ages. A friendly village atmosphere, teamwork at the core, and the Atlantic coast’s distinctive pine-and-sand scenery make this weekend a uniquely social and scenic endurance experience.
