The 14th NMDC Hyderabad Marathon returns on August 23–24, 2025, organized by Hyderabad Runners Society with NMDC as title sponsor and IDFC First Bank as associate partner. This two-day event kicks off on Saturday (August 23) with a 5 km Fun Run, followed by Sunday, which features the full marathon (start ~4:30 AM), half marathon (~5:30 AM), and 10 km run (~7:00 AM). All races finish at Gachibowli Stadium, while the 5 km begins at HITEX Grounds. Courses wind through iconic city landmarks—Hussain Sagar Lake, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge, and the IT corridor—using a point-to-point road format supported by chip timing, hydration and medical stations, official race T-shirts, finisher medals, and a post-race expo at HITEX Centre. Participation exceeds 28,000 runners, with international elite fields competing for prize money of Rs 45 lakh. The event is also a certified World Athletics Label race (pending final approval) and emphasizes sustainability, charity, and community empowerment. Registrations open April 14 with early-bird rates until April 30 and close June 8.
