On 14 December 2025 participants will gather at Vale Park in Stoke-on-Trent for the festive Port Vale 5K & Boomers Santa Hat Run, an event organised to raise funds for the Port Vale Foundation. The main feature is the 5 km run which starts at the stadium, moves through Burslem’s streets, returns via Sproson Park and concludes with a lap of the pitch under the Hamil Road Stand. Alongside that, there’s the shorter fun-run version — the Santa Hat Run — where runners don festive hats and finish inside the stadium as well. All finishers receive a bespoke medal, and there are prizes for podium finishers, age-group winners and those in club tops. With a lively fan-zone, food stalls, the club shop open and a community atmosphere, this run blends sport, charity and Christmas spirit.
