On 27 September 2026, the Yurrebilla Ultra Marathon once again showcases one of Adelaide’s most iconic trail corridors, with a flagship 56 km ultra that starts at Belair Railway Station and finishes at Foxfield Oval after roughly 1,865 m of ascent and 2,060 m of descent. Alongside the full traverse, there’s a 28 km option starting from Coach Road in Ashton and a shorter 13 km race based at Foxfield, all sharing sections of the same forested tracks and ridgelines. The course winds through a chain of national parks and conservation reserves under Mt Lofty, linking rocky singletrack, forest paths, fire roads and brief road connectors, and passing gorges, waterfalls and lookouts while never straying far from the city. Designed to be challenging but supportive, with multiple aid stations and strong volunteer backing, Yurrebilla has a reputation for big trail scenery, tough but runnable terrain, and a friendly Adelaide trail community atmosphere at the Foxfield finish.
