Les Courses du Père Noël

Les Herbiers, France

Be the first Runna to sign up!

Across the weekend before Christmas, Les Courses du Père Noël turns Les Herbiers into a full-on trail festival, mixing ultra-endurance with pure Christmas spirit. Runners can tackle the night-start H.O.T du Père Noël (133 km, ~2500 m D+), join the daytime nature trails of 35 km, 25 km, 16 km and 11 km, or opt for shorter formats such as the 5 km solidarity hike, Nordic walking routes and kids’ races. Courses link the Parc Expo, the town centre and the rolling Vendée countryside, weaving over crest paths, through woodland and across bocage farmland on mostly off-road terrain with plenty of punchy climbs and descents. With relays available on the ultra, a big Santa costume count and a warm local welcome, the event feels like a Christmas trail carnival where there’s a distance for everyone from first-time trail runners to seasoned ultra athletes.
