Across 7–8 March 2026, Les Pyramides turns La Grande-Motte into a seaside running festival with distances for every level: a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 1 km / 2.5 km races for younger runners. The 5 km and 10 km races are held on Saturday afternoon, looping around the iconic pyramid architecture, pine-lined avenues and waterfront paths, while the Bronze-label half marathon on Sunday morning extends the experience out towards the lagoon and back along the sea front on wide, smooth tarmac. The profiles are very flat and runnable, making them ideal both for first-timers and for experienced athletes chasing official, FFA-certified times and national qualification marks. Organised by the Lions Club under the banner “Courir pour un enfant”, the event combines a big, friendly atmosphere, coastal scenery and strong road-running credentials with a clear humanitarian mission.
