The OMM Original Mountain Marathon is a two-day, self-reliant mountain navigation race featuring six challenging courses. The Elite Course covers 47 km on Day 1 and 38 km on Day 2, while Course A spans 36 km and 29 km, and Course B covers 25 km and 20 km across the two days. In addition, there are three score-based courses—Long, Medium, and Short—designed to challenge endurance and navigation over timed periods. Each team of two receives a map at the start, plans a route to visit marked checkpoints, and camps overnight at a designated wild site, before tackling a new set of checkpoints on Day 2 leading back to the finish.
