Set for October 5, 2025, the Rock Reno Half Marathon, Relay & 5K is Reno’s only point-to-point half marathon event, giving runners a scenic urban experience. The Half Marathon starts at 8:00 AM from the Swift Sportsdome and follows a course through the city to finish at Greater Nevada Field, with the Relay allowing teams of two to split the distance. The 5K Run/Walk, beginning at 8:15 AM, loops around the Truckee River area and also finishes at the ballpark. Participants enjoy chip timing, age group awards, finisher medals, and a celebratory post-race environment featuring live music and vendor booths. Shuttle buses to the Half Marathon start are provided from the finish area, with early-morning departure options, and the course has a generous 3.5-hour cutoff to accommodate a wide range of runners and walkers.
