The event includes both solo and team relay divisions, with cash prizes across categories such as top male/female finishers and teams in each distance. Ruck divisions require participants to carry a weighted pack (10 lb for ≤150 lb athletes; 20 lb for heavier), and active-duty military or veterans receive a $15 discount. Support includes chip timing, one aid station (water/Gatorade), medical staff, finisher medals, race T-shirts, and hot lunch for ultra participants—all set in a family- and dog-friendly environment at the pavilion. Operated by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, proceeds go toward veterans’ mental-health services, and the event begins with a Color Guard and National Anthem before the 8 AM start.
