Wingello Trail Festival 2025 returns to the iconic Wingello State Forest on August 16–17, with race central set at Marulan Street campgrounds. The main race day, Sunday, August 17, features distances of 50 km (two-lap technical loop), 25 km, 15 km, and 6.4 km (including a Dog Dash for runners and their dogs)—all on undulating, forested single-track and fire trails. Longer loops repeatedly return to the race hub, creating a festival atmosphere for both athletes and spectators. Originally a highlight of the Southern Highlands Challenge, the event is organized by Elite Energy Events in collaboration with Wingello RFS, and welcomes trail runners of all abilities. The festival also offers the L.O.S.E.R. endurance race the day before, with ultra-loop challenges of 70 km, 100 km, and 160 km.
