Hip Hip Hooray It’s Hornsea – Day 2 returns on August 31, 2025, offering flat and fast trail races along the coastal Trans Pennine Trail from Hornsea Seafront. Runners can choose from a 5 km or 10 km fun run, a 13.1 mile half marathon (10:00 AM start), or longer endurance options starting at 08:30 AM: 10 mile, 20 mile, or full marathon (two half loops) distances. The course is well-marked and marshalled, with drink/food stations every three miles, toilets at the Leisure Centre, and a cupless setup inviting runners to bring reusable cups or bottles. Finishers receive bespoke medals and seaside treats before indulging in classic fish and chips or ice cream by the coast.
